Connecting PlayingPlaying with Pokémon GO
Connecting PlayingIf you pair your Pokémon GO Plus + to your Pokémon Sleep app, a special Pikachu wearing a nightcap will appear in the game to help you raise Snorlax.
1. Open the Pokémon Sleep app and tap Main Menu in the bottom middle of the screen.
2. Select Settings and More.
3. Tap Pair a Device from the menu.
4. Tap Pair Device on the lower right of the screen. Your smart device will then begin trying to connect.
5. You should be able to complete connecting your Pokémon GO Plus + by following the instructions displayed on your screen.
6. Once connected, the icon in the lower right of the home screen will change to show the Pokémon GO Plus +.
1. Open the Pokémon Sleep app, then tap the Pokémon GO Plus + icon on the lower right of the screen.
2. If you tap Unpair Pokémon GO Plus + in the Other menu, you can unpair your device from the app.
Note: If you unpair your Pokémon GO Plus +, any sleep data you haven’t synced with Pokémon Sleep will be lost. If you have sleep data that you’d like to have added to Pokémon Sleep, please sync your Pokémon GO Plus + first.
1. Check the battery level of your Pokémon GO Plus +. If you press the top button, a small LED will light up, allowing you to check the battery level.
Blinking red: Low
Yellow (blinks twice): Greatly reduced
Yellow (blinks once): Slightly reduced
Steady green: Mostly charged
2. If the battery level is low, try charging your Pokémon GO Plus + with the included USB charging cable.
Note: USB AC adapter sold separately.
3. If you still cannot connect, please try the following:
• Reboot the Pokémon Sleep app to see if that resolves the issue.
• Restart your smart device to see if that resolves the issue.
• Try to refresh your internet connection to see if that resolves the issue.
• Try to place the Pokémon GO Plus + as close to your smart device as possible.
• If there are other devices nearby that emit radio waves (e.g. microwave oven, cordless phone, etc.), try to either temporarily disconnect them from power or move away from them.
Start Tracking Sleep
1. If your Pokémon GO Plus + blinks white when you press briefly on the main button, then you can begin sleep tracking. You cannot begin sleep tracking when your Pokémon GO Plus + is connected to the app. Please disconnect it and then try.
Note: You can use the sleep tracking function once you have paired your Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon GO or Pokémon Sleep.
2. Place your Pokémon GO Plus + on your mattress near your pillow, then press and hold the main button for a moment.
3. Once the main button glows blue and the device vibrates lightly, you’ll know that tracking has begun.
4. If the Pokémon GO Plus + is not lying flat, the main button will glow red. This is meant to prevent erroneous readings. If you see a red light, try to repeat these steps on a more level surface.
5. If you press the main button while sleep is being tracked, you should see the main button light up blue. The device will vibrate softly, and you will hear Pikachu’s voice.
Stop Tracking Sleep
1. Press and hold the main button on your Pokémon GO Plus + for a moment.
2. You should hear Pikachu sing a little song while the main button lights up in a variety of colors as the device performs a series of vibrations. These signals tell you that sleep tracking is complete.
NOTE: You will not hear Pikachu sing if the device is in silent mode.
3. If the length of the sleep recording is 90 minutes or less, it will not be considered valid for sleep tracking, and you will see the main button glow red.
1. When you open the Pokémon Sleep app, your smart device will automatically connect to your Pokémon GO Plus + to read sleep data.
Note: This process may fail if the connection cannot be established or if it is unstable.

2. If the Auto-Connect to GO Plus + option is disabled, your smart device will not automatically connect to your Pokémon GO Plus +.
3. If you’re experiencing problems, try to reconnect your Pokémon GO Plus + to your app by tapping the GO Plus + icon on the app’s home screen.
The GO Plus + Settings Menu
1. Tap the GO Plus + icon on the lower right of the app’s home screen.
2. Tap Connect on the lower right of the next screen to connect your Pokémon GO Plus + to your smart device. Once you have, you can change various sound settings.
Your GO Plus + Alarm Settings
1. Tap Alarm on the lower part of the screen.
2. From here, you can change various settings for the alarm that sounds when it’s time to wake up.
Your GO Plus + Sleep Settings
1. Tap Sleep on the lower part of the screen.
2. Under Bedtime Notifications, you can change the settings for notifications that remind you when it’s time for you to go to bed.
3. Relaxing Sounds will let you change the settings for the lullabies that Pikachu may sing to you when you begin tracking sleep.
Your GO Plus + Bedtime Settings
1. Tap the View button beside Bedtime on the lower part of the screen.
2. You can check the bedtime you’ve set for yourself in Pokémon Sleep.
3. The time you’ve set as your bedtime will be sent to your Pokémon GO Plus +, and you’ll hear a different cry from Pikachu when you start sleep tracking.
1. Hold down the top button and then press the main button for at least one second to toggle silent mode on or off. You will hear a bright tone and the device will vibrate once briefly to indicate when the device is emitting sounds (meaning that silent mode has been disabled).
2. When the device is in silent mode, all of Pikachu’s cries will be silenced, including lullabies.
Note: Vibrations and LED lights will not be disabled in silent mode.
1. There is a special Pikachu wearing a nightcap in your Pokémon GO Plus +.
2. If you pair your Pokémon GO Plus + with Pokémon Sleep, this special Pikachu will help you by gathering Berries for you in Pokémon Sleep.
3. Your friendship with this Pikachu will increase as you spend more time tracking your sleep with your Pokémon GO Plus +.
4. As Pikachu becomes friendlier toward you, lots of fun things may happen! It may sing new alarm songs for you or gather more Berries! Get lots of sleep and become good friends with Pikachu!
1. You can use your Pokémon GO Plus + to spin PokéStops in Pokémon GO.
2. If you then connect your Pokémon GO Plus + to Pokémon Sleep, you’ll see a Pokémon GO Plus + icon displayed on your nightcap-wearing Pikachu.
3. If you tap this icon, you’ll be able to get Berries as a in Pokémon GO bonus!
